Reginald is a major antagonist in the Night at the Museum franchise, serving as one of the two secondary antagonists in Night at the Museum (the other being Gus), an unseen character in its sequel Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, and a minor character in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. He was portrayed by Bill Cobbs.

Night at the Museum[]
In the first movie, he is seen with the other two night guards, Cecil and Gus, as Larry is in need of a job and gets told to talk to them about it. Larry gets hired because the museum is having financial troubles to where they are firing Reginald and the other two to only pay one guard.
After two nights, Reginald, Cecil and Gus come back to steal the tablet of Ahkmenrah because of how it's 24k gold so that they can sell it and retire. When Larry and Nick find them, they talk to them because of Nicky having the tablet and he activates it, leading them to get it back later on. Either way, Reginald is later seen going against the Neanderthals and Christopher Columbus, using his cane as a weapon but is later seen tied up.
In the end credits, Reginald, Gus and Cecil have become janitors for the Museum, making little money as they are seen mopping the floor.
Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian[]
While Reginald doesn't appear in the main version of the movie, he appears in a deleted scene that shows how he, Gus and Cecil would of been seen at the end of the movie talking to Ahkmenrah and asking about the tablet. This scene is on the DVD/Blue-Ray versions of the movie as a bonus feature.
Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb[]
In the third movie in the series, Reginald appears in the retirement home with Gus and Cecil when Larry comes in to try and talk to Cecil. He is seen pushing Gus in a wheelchair.
